Topic: “Recent Advances in
Food Safety Testing Products“
Speaker: Siqun Wang, Global Director of Research
and Development, DuPont Qualicon
Abstract
Chemical and biological contaminants are the
main concerns in food safety. Methods for
detecting such contaminants have been developed
and routinely used by government agencies and
commercial enterprises. Today, rapid and
reliable methods help industries in determining
the effective of food safety measures, legal
compliance as well as achieving logistical and
operational efficiencies. In this talk, I will
review some of the recent advances in
microbiological detection products developed by
DuPont Qualicon. Examples will include pathogen
testing, quality testing as well as new ways in
helping the performance of traditional culture
methods.
